FUN Music Festival This Weekend
By Aug 22, 2013 Nightlife
Yet another multi-stage, weekend-long music festival is going down over the weekend in yet another remote park in some remote suburb of Beijing you've never heard of until right now. The FUN Music Festival (yep, actually named that) returns to Changyang after a two year hiatus (it went down in 2010 and 2011 as the Musichill Fun Festival). This time around they're bringing together over 50 local and international artists over three days. Two stages: pop/rock/folk, and electro. The lineup includes alt folk group Mojave3, Glasgow "no wave disco" group FANGS, French electro from Marie Madeleine, and plenty more. Tickets are 150rmb per day. To get there you take the subway alllll the way out to the southwest Fangshan Line and get out at the Changyang stop. Your festival chariot (shuttle) will await. Check each day's lineup here.
