Lovely bougey Baochao Hutong cabaret club Modernista is finally unveiling their new dining space after undertaking their massive expansion and renovations some months back. This Thursday, they're kicking out their new "exquisite menu" in the new digs, open to the public from 6pm to 11:30pm. Reservations obviously recommended.
Food is from their in-house chef Luis Wei who "along the years has careful learned his skill from renowned Catalan chef Jordi Valles, formerly Chef de Cuisine at Agua." A few of the promoted dishes include a pan-fried pork belly with roasted artichokes, a bacon-wrapped marinated salmon, a tuna tatake, and more. Expect fine dining fare served on oceamnic white plates, served in a classic, modish European restaurant cafe environment. Chin chin.
