China's first online radio Tangsuan Radio -- established back in 2004 -- is planning to launch and English-language show to compliment their solid Chinese-language programming. They're looking to record in mid-March, broadcasting shortly after that, I would imagine -- this internet thing is real fast like that. (In theory.)
From the English-language show organizer, producer, host Jay Mark Caplan:
"The point is to make something relevant to local expats and globally accessible, so good music and funny stories about the music / party industry and daily life in China. Tangsuan Radio is known for being frank, casual, and funny, and the English version is gonna be that way too."
Don't touch that dial, as they say. A more in-depth background on Tangsuan Radio can be found here at their Douban page.
