So that new hutong gallery I: Project Space — oh hey, we were just there! — is hosting a few proto-winter warm-drinks-oriented events coming up. Tonight they're inviting various and sundry hutong experts to drop in for an informal salon, theme being "how the fuck do you stay warm in these hutongs?" They just moved in this past August so they're hoping to entice you with tea and cider to share your knowledge on how not to freeze to death in these things. They say: "creative, insane, or just plain useful tips" are welcome. That starts at 7pm.
Then, on Sunday, they dedicate an entire late morning / early afternoon to a camera obscura piece in their current exhibit, Dì 地儿, which is only visible during daylight hours. And looks pretty damn cool. Check out some photos here, and navigate yourself to I: Project Space via the listing.
